Most Useful Tools, Wikipedi and Youtube
I found search engine don't give me what information I need most of the time. Sometimes, I doubt what happen to all this search engines doing by collecting so many information from millions of websites. The worst experience I had when I search for a keyword and then a stupid old article about 1 year old still remained in the first page of search engines. How can it be? The web crawler is not functioning or is a system error.
Lately, I found interesting in Wikipedia and YouTube, both are the best dictionaries in the world now. Wikipedia elaborates the fact, history and related information on the specific keyword you search for. However, YouTube using another approach it teach you in audio and visual. Fun to learn from both.
How search engine helps in our life? Simply type few key words and the search resutls will reveal the "related" search results for users but most of the results do not really satisfy what we want it is merely close to what we are looking for.

Morphis 3D Motion
For those who work in Golden Triangle especially places near Sungai Wang or Lot 10 Kuala Lumpur, you will notice this huge space ship underneath the Monorail Station at the Sungai Wang stop.
The Morphis 3D Stimulator organised by a private company in Malaysia runs a road show on the busy Jalan Sultan Ismail infront of Sungai Wang Plaza. You will easily spot the space ship when you're crossing the road or driving pass Sungai Wang Plaza. The event is conjunction with the celebration of Visit Malaysia Year 2007
What is Morphis 3D Stimulator?
The Morphis 3D is a highly mobile dynamic motion stimulator ride. For your own safety anyone who is pregnant and suffer heart problem or similar is advised not to ride on this highly mobile dynamic motion stimulator.

The Morphis 3D Motion (Impress?? So So only...)

Top view of the Morphis 3D, is bald. Ha Ha Ha

The side angle shows more clearer of the entire space ship.

The space ship is moving in a reasonable speed. Seems shaky... will it fall out??!!

The Morphis stand elegantly after the show.
I'm not sure whether this is a government sponsor project or a private company road show. But as long as it is in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007 event it is obviously a government sponsored project. Safe to take a ride.
Morphis 3D Motion will cost you:
Ticket: RM 15
Duration: 5 minutes
Location: Infront of Sungai Wang Plaza (underneath Sg. Wang Monorail stop)

My Nokia N70
Lately, I was busy following Hong Kong TVB series "Heart of Greed" (溏心風暴). This TVB series was voted as one of the high rating series in Hong Kong for the past 2 years and the series peaked at its season high of 48 points within the final minutes of the final episode (Total 40 episodes). If you got time, rent it at your nearest TVB store. You will not forget the happy go lucky character of "Dak Dak Tei" and the mouthwatering Abalone in the series!!!
Well, back to my absence of blogging for the past few days...My Nokia N70 is with me for the past 9 months and I've been using heavily on calling and receiving (of course SMS lar...). But, I hardly utilise all the functions in the phone until I started to blog. I've been using the camera function quite extensively recently to take down photos and share it in my blog.
Last weekend, when I wanted to use the camera phone to take down photos in Yin Kee's new apartment...I just discovered the lens doesn't work at all. I've tried many ways and even switch on and off the phone. But it came back to square one. It just doesn't work. I recalled I didn't drop the phone and didn't have major knock on the phone but how come it doesn't work. How unlucky I am!!!
It doesn't seem fair to me because I started using the camera function for the past 3 months and it just "koyak" like this meh... I really have to re-consider if I were to buy a new Nokia phone any more in the future. Will Sony Erickson anywhere better than this??

My Nokie N70. Still look brand new...

This angle shows the Camera function at the back of the phone and it is protected.

Push down the cover and you can take photos anytime and handy... (but not for me now!)

The lens look perfect outside but not working at all.

Look... the screen is empty!!! No image from the lens!!!

Lucky the second camera is still function well... but who will take photos from this view???

"Goods Sold Are Not Returnable" or "No Refund Once Sold"
Something good to share to all consumers. Indeed, all of us are consumer for anything in this world. An interesting email received today for the title "Goods Are Not Returnable" or "No Refund Once Sold".
Under Contract Law of Malaysia the above words is bullshit!!! Well it seems the government really protects the consumers!!!
Do you notice that most of the time, the receipt / invoice you received from the merchant carries this exclusion clause or similarly worded statement: "Goods sold are not returnable" or "No refund once sold".
Please remember that : "As long as your goods is purchased for home use and not for business (i.e. to be resold), the above exclusion clause is VOID.
That means, as long as the good is defective, regardless of what is worded, you CAN get back all your money spent . You do not have to accept a repair on the good or an exchange. You CAN ask for a refund. AND you are LEGALLY right and entitled to!
And most of the time the merchant will refuse to return you your money.
You can threaten the merchant with four words: "SEE YOU IN COURT!"
The court here refers to the Small Claims Tribunal Court. Any goods which is worth RM25,000 and below can apply to this Court.
However, you don't have to tell them what court! All you have to pay is RM10 admin fee and the loser (the merchant) will have to refund you the money PLUS the admin fee!
I have seen that most educated people are cowed by such unfair wordings (which includes a few of my friends).
Pls try not to let the merchant fleece you the next time you have defective goods.
You can file this On the 16th floor of Putra Place (The Mall opposite Putra World Trade Centre) . The form cost RM5.00. The Tribunal will settle within 2 months period.
Contact them:
Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia,
Tingkat 16, Putra Place,

Gathering
Yesterday, our gathering at NEROVIVO followed by Karaoke Section organised by Joyce. A fine Italian Dining located at Ceylon Hill. Besides, Kay Peng and Ai Lim both turned up on the gathering too.
The girls were excited about the gathering because Joyce brought back a few LV from Paris and Dubai for them (Of course is free lar... If you want free LV handbags please look for Joyce.. Ha Ha Ha!!!)
After waiting for about half an hour our appetizer only arrives (But the girls are still talking and playing with their new bags... OMG... how come girls are so CRAZY about LV???)

One of the boxes with LV handbags. I think the packaging already cost few hundred Ringgit already.

The first appetizer (with salmon, clams, prawn, calamari and lots more) ordered by Joyce... Slurps can't wait to eat.

This appetizer is vegetarian and the vege called "Rocket" according from Joyce. Funny right??!! The vege taste is abit bitter... anyway She said the vege got detoxin function wor..(so who smokes alot must eat lor!!!)

My main course... serve with Beef... Yummy!!!

Ai Lim's main course... sure she can't finish with this kind of big serving. Don't worry you still got Kay Peng to finish all the stuff for you.

Joyce's main course... Nice right??!! Of course lar she's the regular here.

Look, Peng Leong looks damn hungry right... This is his second main course of the evening.. HA HA HA!!!! (he said raining that's why very hungry wor..)

After the meals the girls quickily ordered few deserts like our next table... I don't like sweet stuff (afraid of diabetes.. Ha Ha Ha) But the deserts look damn nice and tasty.

Tiramisu from the House. Our last desert, waiting for the bill and heading to Green Box immediately to "K" section at Sg Wang. Tonight, we can sing all out from our throat!!!

OMG!!! The girls still showing off their LV begs on escalator. (feature Pauline and Joyce). Tak boleh tahan...
Thank you Joyce for organising the gathering, from dinner to karaoke even she's busy running around for her apartment. I hope the next gathering will be Joyce's open house. For those who didn't attended this gathering prepare your air-ticket because Joyce will give away free LV bags for girls on our next gathering. HA HA HA!!!

"Skim Cepat Kaya" a.k.a Get Rich Fund
Today, The Star headline Web Block about Skim Cepat Kaya a.k.a Get Rich Fund. This really ring me a bell about a dinner I attended few months ago hosted by this group of scam.
The return of Get Rich Fund is out of logic. Basically, a few tips they try to lure prospect are:

1. Capital investment is little from few hundred to RM10,000
2. The ROI (return on investment) is up to 300%
3. Capital return in less than 3 months
All the myths created by this scam is to lure those who are greed and want to have easy money fast with high return. They even promise to see you and update your status weekly. But slowly, you find hard to contact them and can't even reach them on their mobile. What's next? They have run away with your hard earned savings and probably enjoy Cigar on the Beach now.
Lately, Bank Negara of Malaysia had banned a few websites since April 2007 and they are taking action against all these scams that try to lure public money and run away overnight.
Again, no free lunch in this world as always mentioned by my Mum. If you really want to make easy money. Try online. Start a blog. Ha Ha Ha.

I'm Back
For the last 2 days, my body is in total hybernation mode "tired + exhausted" after doing all the cleaning on Sunday because of the bloody fload in Kuala Lumpur. Finally, my ache heels after 2 days.
Looking forward to this weekend, 2 special ocassions. Firstly, Father's Day on Sunday and the other one is the gathering with friends coming back from Dubai and Singapore. (But this time, the gathering will not be involve a lot of people because Law, Grace and Daniel is too far from us to join the party. He He he..Wish you guys are here too...)
Father's Day, the most headache one.... Where to dine? For those, who really wants to celebrate on Sunday. I adviced you to make early reservation as most of the restaurants will be fully occupy and you have to wait for hours if you are just walk-in customers. If you want to check on the restaurant's reservation here is the link for you.

Terrible Weekend!!! Fload in Kuala Lumpur Prime Area.
Last Sunday, as usual I have my family dinner with my wife and the in-laws. Everyone was talking about the 2007 Tennis French Open finals between Roger Federer VS Rafal Nadal. We planned to have a early dinner and than watch the finals live from Roland Garros.
This time, I personally favour Roger Federer to win on this clay court surface and this is the only Gland Slam crown to elude him.
While waitng for the live telecast, rain started pouring around Klang Valley area. My father-in-law insisted to go makan some where near the house (Ong Lay "Big Fried") instead of order take away.
So, all the soldiers follow the commander's order and heading to the restaurant. Not more than 30 minutes enjoying the lovely "steam fish head"...My mother-in-law rang me up and told me the rain getting worst and the water level from the drain was rising. Well, I delivered the message to my father-in-law and everyone on the dinner table was quite annoyed about the rain. In less than 2 minutes, my mother-in-law called me again, saying the kitchen is fload already.
OMG... this is not a good news. As my wife house is located in one of the Kuala Lumpur fload area (Jalan Raja Laut). Without much hesitation me and the brother-in-law quicikily go back and move our car away to a higher place. (I parked at Sime Darby building). Below are some of the terrible scenes for those of you who never experience fload before.

I'm the first one to reach my wife's house at Lorong Tiong Nam 4.

Pauline and her sister reach the house about 15 minutes later. Water Level 6-inches from ground.

Pauline showing off the water level is rising to her knee.

Everyone was busy rescue all the stuff in the living room. The pregnant Pauline just look relax only.... I wish I'm pregnant now... Ha Ha Ha...

The kitchen is gone. We can't save so much with our bare hands. Hope the rain stops and the water level goes down.

Everyone looks exhausted after moving Pauline's beloved piano and the safe box (500kg).

The fload rise about 3FT high already. OMG!!!

Free swimming lesson from Mr. Doggy!!! Luckily it wasn't a snake!!! Niamah...

To those who often drop by at Pauline house. This is the damage the F**king fload cause to us.

The Living Room in total mess now.

Suddenly, I was thinking of going to pee. WTF!!! The toilet also gone...

Toile cannot go. French Open finals cannot watch. Fridge also don't dare to open... Really sucks!!!

View taken from 2nd floor of Pauline's house. It was midnight!!!

Feel like in Vanice now, Kuala Lumpur turn to "water village"!!!
We waited until 1:00am when the water level went down and started to do the cleaning until 2:30am. I can feel my whole body is aching in office now....
Again, I really don't understand what the hack DBKL is going to take any action against this act of god. More prevention on fload or improve the city drainage system??? I don't see any improvement here. (As I experienced this before during year 2003). It is shame to tell people that the at one of the Kuala Lumpur prime area is floaded like this. How are we going to achieve Wawasan 2020 with this kind of infrastructure the government of Malaysia serves it's people. Pak Lah or Datuk Bandar please do something to aid the helpless.

Used Car in Malaysia
This morning just coincident drop by at one of the Used Car in Kuala Lumpur. Guess what I discovered... Branded used car like BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Toyaota Harrier aren't that expensive at all.
Just for comparison if you have a budget of RM60,000 to buy a brand new car what is your choices? Beside a Buatan Malaysia (local production) car from Proton or Perodua you obviously do not have other alternative.
What about you have lift up a bit of your budget to RM90,000 to buy a brand new car for you personal satisfaction. You have choices like Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Kia, Hyundai of course our lovely Proton and Perodua.
Do you ever think that with a budget of RM60,000 you could deserve to drive a used Volvo (Model S40) which only cost you RM55,000 or less.

This is the Volvo S40 from front.

Volvo S40 from behind. It looks pretty classy too.
Just think twice before you put your penny to buy a Proton or Perodua. Does it worth while? I'm not condemning our local cars quality but they really don't live up to my expectation. (eg. power window break down, roof leaking, gear box breakdown and a lot more.)
Next for a budget of RM90,000 what do you guess you can get for a brand new car? Toyota Vios, Toyota Yaris, Honda City, Honda Jazz, Korean made like Hyundai, Kia, or Nissan Sentra. Well for a budget of RM90,000 you could drive on a cool BMW 318 or Toyota Harrie easily. No joke. This is the survey I have done for the whole morning.

Used BMW 318 from the side.

Used BMW 528 only selling for RM71,000 (before discount)

Used Toyota Harrier only for RM81,000 (Before discount)
I know many people have different prospective on used car. But this is what I think worth while to share in my blog. Good Day.

Prison Break

Familiar with this combination of people. Yes it's Prison Break!!!
I personally don't really like to watch series because need to spend a lot of time on TV (Make me got no time to blog! Just Kidding lar) those popular series like CSI, Desperate HouseWife, Heroes, The OC, Lost, One Three Hill, 4400, Prison Break, Criminal Minds and many more are often watch by Pauline (that's why I can name it.)

Michael Scofield doing research for Prison Break to save Lincoln Burrows.(Now I know why girl likes to watch man when they are concerntrating in work. He looks cool!!!)
Perhaps it is part of her influenced, I started to follow one of her favourite series Prison Break. The storyline is classic and imaginative that both of us discuss before bed what will happen next and we can't stop ourselves to finish both Season 1 and Season 2 in less than 1 month. What a heart pounding series.
According to her, most of the girls follow Prison Break because they are crazy about Michael Scofield a.k.a Wenworth Miller (I strongly believe!!! Smart, Cute, Good Looking, HII and romantic). I only fancy about his Tattoo only!!! Ha Ha Ha...

This is the Tattoo!!! The blue print of the Prison.
The second season of Prison Break is unfinished yet because we still don't know what will Michael Scofield face and experience in the SONA.
Well so far I really haven't seen any series storyline that is anything close to Prison Break. If you do have any good series please recommend to me.
P/S To those of you who have not watch this series please head back to your nearest video store to get one of them.

Kuala Lumpur Monorail
Is strange to tell if a residence living in Kuala Lumpur never take the KL Monorial before. I'm one of them. (Don't shock because I drive to work daily.) The traffic in Kuala Lumpur city especially the Golden Triangle is always congested during weekdays and especially working hours. You will take more than 15 minutes to reach a place that is not more than 5KM away by car. So can you imagine how frustrated you were if you are rushing for meeting or appointment.
Well last week because of the bad traffic out the road I try on the KL Monorail from Jalan Sultan Ismail to Chow Kit. It just merely take me less than 10 minutes to reach my destination. Wah-Lau this is amazing and yet convenient. It is worth to pay RM1.60 for the journey. (Better than take a cab or drive yourself!!!)
For tourists visiting Kuala Lumpur, KL Monorail is one of the public transport that you shouldn't miss. The entire route basically will pass by all the major streets in the City.
Another highlight of public transport that tourists shouldn't miss is the Double Decker Hop-on, Hop off bus. During Visit Malaysia Year 2007 the Tourism Board of Malaysia has launched a Double Decker Hop-on, Hop-off bus for tourists to have a quick glance in more than 40 attractions within the Kuala Lumpur city like Petronas Twin Tower, KL Conventiion Centre, KL Tower, National Palace, National Museum, National Monument, National Mosque, Merdeka Square, Lake Garden, major hotels and many more.
