Mix Feeling

Today recorded the 13 days of being a father... Mix feeling... Well where the *hell* I have absenced for the pass weeks... Well here is some summary for you guys (not in Malaysia wan...)

The first week of fatherhood or should I say parenthood is not easy stuff... You have to be alert, when little baby cries (either Hungry or Shit...) so I bared the responsibilities of make milk (in the midnight) or clean the little shit for baby ... Obviously, I'm lacked of sleep.... (therefore never update my blog..). Anyway, Pauline also helps along lar... She is the one breastfeed our baby.

Well, all the above task have been taking over by the nanny when she arrived 4 days later... what a relieved for myself, pauline and my parents are exhausted of taking care of baby... I found myself like lost some of my short term memory at that time due to tiredness.

Unfortunately, baby kena jaundice after discharged from the hospital in the 5th day. She had to stayed overnight for 3 Days 2 Nights in the hospital to be observed under the special sunlight. Luckily she recovered in time but the mummy *worried* her so much... muahahahahahaha (hardly see Pauline so kan cheong!!!) A week has passed quickily and we still haven't name her... (according to the Pendaftaran Negara Malaysia we have an allowance of 2 weeks to submit our baby name at any branch of PNM.)

During the 1st and 2nd weeks a lot of friends visited us and baby... appreciate a lot!!! Besides, I have to thanks a few name here. Peng Leong for the big Ang Pow. Ah Shue, Johnson, Max, Law, Grace, Irene, Kay Peng, Joyce, Yin Kee, Kang Han, Suet Han, Esther for the presents like Baby Chair, Clothes and many many more. Thank You so much...

Today marked a historical day for our baby. We have finalised and included a english name in her IC. The final SARA GAN SHIN E. So next time you all can call her Sara or Shin E.

Baby again

For the past 3 days, Me and Pauline had become Full-Time daddy and mommy to our little daughter (frankly it isn't easy at all) The sleepless night and restless days begin... but I still happy to do it for her (so far.. hahahahahahhaha)

What a coincidence, on the far east Hong Kong celeb Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung new born baby giving birth on 2nd August 2007.

Photos for my baby (Sara.. tentatively) will be upload after full moon... So, whoever will be back in Malaysia in the end of this month, you are invited to the full moon party.

Welcome Baby!!!

Yesterday 1st August 2007, my wife, Pauline has successfully delivered a 7.9 pounce Baby Daughter, length at 48cm.

MY BABY GIRL

Yesterday, me and Pauline visited our gyne again for my baby monthly check up (So fast right...) But, gyne says we have to go there on a weekly basis later on because the expecting date is drawing closer...

Well, it is 34 weeks old for our baby and Pauline's stomach is growing like a *basketball*!!! Out of curiosity, I asked the Gyne...

David: Normally, when women will deliver? How many weeks of pregnancy?
Gyne: It depends, 38 weeks or earlier. Between 36-38 weeks.

OMG!!! I looked up to the calender and my legs starts shaking... Why? Meaning I only can enjoy for the coming next 2 weeks of Futsal and Golf and I gotto be a Full Time Daddy *sigh* (But, poor Pauline has suffered to carry the baby for the pass 9 months... I appreciate alot and Baby must sayang the mommy when she comes to this world!!!)

I'm excited, looking forward and feel pressure suddenly because this is my first baby of ours and really don't know what to expect what will happen next... (on the other hand, my parents are happy about it!! Finally, got grandchildren to play with...)


My Baby Girl in 4D. My father has name her Xin Yee(馨怡) or Xing Yee (心怡). Nice or not?! (I think peng leong and yin kee cannot give her this kind of sweet name at all lar...Ha Ha Ha... Still remember the night when we were in Vintry!!!)

Dear friends please don't ask me out after Pauline's delivery but you all are welcome to visit me, pauline and baby with presents when her full month comes. In fact, I'll be back in action when Pauline done with her confinement. Ha Ha Ha...

Insurance for My Baby

Last week, I was approached by a friend who work as an insurance agent and recommended me a new insurance policy for my baby and myself. Most of you who know me as a self-employed for the pass 6 months. 0 Income + Many Expenses. She proposed to me about the new insurnce policy of their company offered for my new born baby and myself. I don't like to promote this but this policy seems worth to share here with all of you. (I'm not their agent, repeat!!!)

As a self-employed, you'll realised that you don't have fixed income monthly, no EPF (Employee Provisional Fund)contribute by you or your employer. (Obviously you will loss out the retirement benefit in the long run)

The policy is very simple. You are require to pay a premium every month ranging from RM300, RM600, RM900 or RM1,200 for 10 years. That's it. No catch!!

The benefit from the Insurance Policy are:

1. During the 10 years any accident fall on you, no need to pay premium but still entitle the benefit there on. (Touch wood!! Indeed, good protection as the insurance company will insured the payer for life and disability once you sign up.)

2. You could withdraw the money you invested from year 11 onwards until the age of 86.

3. If you want to withdraw in a later date the amount will be higher because the Insurance company will compound your interest and principal every year. (This will be very lucrative.)

4. As a self-employed individual, take this opportunity to save money like you're contributing to the EPF. (Rate offer 7.5% pa higher than EPF 4.5% pa). Advise to pro-blogger.

5. Comparable investment on this policy is better than invest in property. Instalment for property at least 20 to 30 years. This Insurance Policy maximum 10 years.

6. Insurance policy secured return, rental unsecure.

7. Insurance policy no need renovation cost, buy new property you need to incured renovation before rent out. (When you sell your property, renovation always not taken into account.)

8. No maintenance fee for insurance policy but property YES.

9. Property you need to wait for appreciation however, we hardly enjoy the appreciation of property price because the bank BLR (Base Lending Rate) fluctuate based on the appreciation of the property. You just save for staying for FREE in the property you belong.

10. Tax deduction for Insurance premium from 50% up to 100%. Property No!!

11. Many more to explain from there on.

Think again if you want to invest your money smartly in the future. I principally agreed that the scheme of this insurance is very attractive but back then, we must evaluate our financial status which allow us to invest or not.

Baby Visit

We walked in to the Gynae office... Guess what the nurse went out for lunch already.


The whole office is empty... Only 2 of us.... Playing around with my camera phone.

Finally, the Gynae is back and with other patient... When is my turn??

Another month has passed quietly... Today, me and pauline are going to visit our gynae for monthly check up again. We reach Damansara Specialist rather late in the afternoon that is all because of the Hong Kong TVB series "Heart of Greed" that made us watch until 3:00am yesterday. (...)

The little baby of ours is approximately 31 weeks-old already...Gynae did some scanning for the baby but we can't really see the 4D Effect this time because she is too big inside and taken alot of space!!!

New Born

My gynae has confirmend the baby of Pauline and Me will be baby girl!!! she will be arriving in another 3 months time from now... (can't wait to see how she looks like but at the same time I think I need to slow down my activity like golf, futsal and etc.... (sigh)

The entire process of this pregnanat period isn't easy for her (Pauline) well I'm glad she is tough and patient about carrying an extra 15kg on her body both mentally and physically. Thank you for friends around us supported her well like Peng Leong (god-father to be), Joyce and AiLim who always encourage her to buy another brand new LV handbag (groans), She Ai who always spend time and give her companion when I wasn't free, and others that I couldn't mentioned about here like. Thank you so much and appreciate. Well I believe to be the first one among our friends to have a baby so to get your attention I would like to invite those who wants to be "God-Father" or "God-Mother" for her please submit your applicaton NOW!!! HA HA HA...

The headache part for now is thinking a baby name for her it isn't easy at all. As the chinese always say we need to get a GOOD NAME for our children. I think I've been brainstorming this for a couple of times with my friends like PL, Leslee, Yin Kee, Joyce, Kay Peng, Ai Lim, and others... but none could deliver a good one... I know it is tough and thank you for giving me so many funny ones like Yan Er, Ngan King Wan, Ngan Lip Fong, and others...
